SAKAR project is implemented with the support of Find Your Feet in Teliyani Block of Fatehpur district. SAKAR project aims at building and shaping the future of adolescents and children through reproductive and sexual health knowledge, encouraging education, enhancing life skills education, understanding gender and sexuality and enhancing entrepreneurial skills in 40 villages of Fatehpur district. Project has adopted two pronged strategy including establishment of Adolescents Education and Counseling centers and facilitating effective implementation of the Right to Education Act for enrollment and retention of children for enhancing education. These strategies are being implemented with active involvement of community, PRIs and government.  Village education committees are being promoted to play leading and sustainable role in enhancing education among children.
