Dasra Giving Circle formed by Dasra selected the Saloni model, which was to support adolescent girl’s empowerment in urban slums in holistic way. This community based model is directly impacting on 22000 adolescent girls and 40, 000 families in 400 slums  through integrated community based micro planning, social and behaviour change communication, life skills and convergence with government line departments. It covers education, health, nutrition, safe water, sanitation, hygiene and empowerment processes such as participation, communication, skills and abilities, self awareness & advocacy. The model id demonstrating favourable results.
