Jagrati project is being implemented in carpet belt of Bhadohi district, where children and their families are engaged in carpet weaving. Program aims preventing child labour by encouraging education, building child led advocacy systems among children to access their rights as per UNCRC, influencing community behaviours and enhancing access to development services like education, child protection, health, nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene and livelihood development.It implements strategies like integrated village planning, children and youth reporters, community resource center, weavers’ cooperative, behavioural change counselling, and linkages with government schemes, CSO networking and policy advocacy to reduce chid labour and improve their conditions.
