WIDE (Women Initiative for Development and Empowerment) project is implemented with the support of NABARD in 300 villages of Barabanki and Fatehpur districts in UP. It aims at improving conditions and position of women through self help group strategy and strengthens Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies. Promotion of SHGs has twin objective of empowering the women both socially and economically and expanding business opportunities for PACS and cooperative banks.
